- About
Harris M. Scharf is an associate attorney at Berk Law Group, where he focuses his practice on
probate, trust, estate, and fiduciary litigation. He approaches each matter with careful
preparation, practical judgment, and an understanding of the personal and family dynamics that
often accompany trust and estate disputes.
Harris’s interest in this area of law is personal. During his first year of law school, a trust dispute
arose within his own family following his grandfather’s death. The experience gave him
firsthand insight into the legal and emotional challenges these disputes can present and inspired
him to build a practice helping clients navigate similar circumstances.
Before joining Berk Law Group, Harris practiced civil litigation in Phoenix, representing clients
in construction defect and general liability matters.
Harris earned his J.D. from the University of Minnesota Law School, where he served as a
certified student attorney and Student Director of the Business Law and Entrepreneurship Clinic.
During law school, he also worked as a Summer Associate at an AmLaw 25 firm in Silicon
Valley. Harris graduated magna cum laude from the University of Arizona W.A. Franke Honors
College with a double major in Philosophy, Politics, Economics & Law (PPEL) and Economics.
Harris is admitted to practice in Arizona and Minnesota, as well as before the United States
District Court for the District of Arizona. He also volunteers with Wills for Heroes, assisting first
responders and their spouses with estate planning.
In his free time, Harris enjoys road and gravel cycling, hiking with his dog, Sawyer, visiting
national parks, and spending time with family and friends.
