Associate Attorney, Probate & Trust Litigation

Full-Time · Scottsdale, AZ · 2+ Years Experience · $120,000 to $160,000+, plus bonuses

About the role

If you’re an Arizona attorney with litigation, probate, or estate planning experience and you’re looking to grow in a meaningful, specialized area of law, Berk Law Group may be the right fit. We’re a respected Scottsdale firm focused exclusively on probate, trust, estate, fiduciary and inheritance litigation, and we’re hiring two full-time Associate Attorneys.

The work is challenging, impactful, and intellectually engaging. We handle complex family, fiduciary, and financial disputes involving trusts, estates, guardianships, conservatorships, elder abuse, and inheritance matters, and your work will directly help individuals and families through some of the most difficult and important moments of their lives.

What you’ll do

  • Take meaningful responsibility for client matters from intake through resolution
  • Handle court appearances, motions, discovery, mediations, and case strategy
  • Work closely with experienced litigators who invest in your development
  • Build deep, marketable expertise in probate and trust litigation

What we’re looking for

  • Licensed Arizona attorney in good standing
  • At least 2 years of experience in litigation, probate, or estate planning
  • Strong writing, analytical, and client-communication skills
  • Integrity, professionalism, and a collaborative, team-first mindset

Why you’ll want to work here

  • Path to partnership: real long-term growth, not a dead-end associate seat
  • Early case ownership: meaningful responsibility and court time from the start
  • Direct mentorship: learn hands-on from Kent Berk and senior attorneys
  • Origination upside: credit and bonus opportunities for business you bring in
  • Reasonable hours: impactful work without punishing billable pressure
  • Flexible scheduling, with some remote-work potential
  • Full benefits: 401(k) with match and profit sharing, health, generous PTO
  • Paid bar dues and CLE: we invest in your license and your learning
  • AI-forward firm: modern tools so you work smarter, not just harder
  • A team you’ll like: team lunches, dogs in the office, off the 101 and Raintree by a park

Compensation

Competitive compensation of $120,000 to $160,000+ depending on experience, plus bonus opportunities, 401(k) with match and profit sharing, health benefits, paid bar dues and CLE support, and generous paid time off.
