- About
Cassandra M. Kellogg is an associate attorney at Berk Law Group, where she focuses her practice on trust and estate litigation, guardianship and conservatorship matters, and trust and estate administration. She is known for her calm, methodical approach, her careful attention to detail, and her ability to truly listen to her clients, qualities that are especially important in emotionally charged probate and trust disputes.
Cassandra did not always envision herself as a lawyer, but she always knew she wanted a career dedicated to helping others. Before law school, she explored a range of paths, volunteering in an emergency room while considering medicine, pursuing a potential career in book editing, and teaching elementary school. Each experience was meaningful in its own way, but none fully captured the balance she was seeking between intellectual challenge, personal purpose, and real-world impact.
Law ultimately emerged as a natural fit. Growing up, Cassandra spent countless hours debating religion, politics, and philosophy with her father—conversations that others may have viewed as arguments, but that she experienced as energizing intellectual exchanges. That foundation, combined with her lifelong love of reading, writing, and careful analysis, shaped her approach to legal advocacy and continues to inform her work today.
Practicing probate and trust litigation allows Cassandra to combine rigorous legal analysis with deeply human work. She recognizes that most clients come to her during periods of significant stress, grief, or conflict, and she views it as a privilege to guide them through those moments. Her goal is not only to advocate fiercely and effectively, but also to provide clarity, confidence, and reassurance that her clients are not navigating the process alone.
Before becoming an attorney, Cassandra spent several years working as a paralegal in probate and estate litigation, giving her extensive hands-on experience with the day-to-day procedures of probate, trust and estate work. This background allows her to approach cases with both strategic perspective and practical efficiency, always focused on achieving the best possible outcome for her clients. Cassandra approaches every case with diligence, empathy, and purpose, striving to be a steady, thoughtful advocate for clients facing some of the most difficult moments of their lives.
Cassandra earned her J.D. from the University of Connecticut School of Law after graduating summa cum laude from Arizona State University with a B.A. in English and a minor in Philosophy. She is licensed to practice law in the State of Arizona and is an active member of the State Bar of Arizona and Maricopa County Bar Association. Outside the office, Cassandra enjoys reading, exploring the outdoors, and spending time with family and friends.
