Creating video content can be a powerful part of any legal practice, helping to train employees, connect with clients, explain complex legal concepts, and market services. Using AI, creating powerful video content is now quick and easy.
Based on our hands-on experience, we’ll provide a comparison of three AI-assisted video platforms: InVideo, Vyond, and Canva.
Like prior articles, this does not address the legal or ethical limitations or requirements for using such services or publishing such content. Each of these platforms has pricing that depends on your intended use. For example, if you want to use the application to generate content you will sell, as opposed to just use on your website or video channel, you will need a special license entitling you to do so. There are many other legal and ethical considerations beyond the scope of this article.
InVideo: www.invideo.io
InVideo allows you to simply input a prompt, the more details the better, and it will turn it into a video with realistic voices and actors, video clips, images and pop outs, among other things. You can then edit the script, media, scene and other aspects.
InVideo stands out for its high quality videos, simplicity and user-friendly interface. The extensive library of images, clips and music make it accessible even for those with no prior video editing experience. We found that the platform is intuitive, enabling quick video creation and easy edits. For those needing more sophisticated editing tools, InVideo’s capabilities may feel restrictive.
Pricing: The free plan includes only basic features with watermarks. Paid plans start at $20 per month, offering additional features and watermark removal.
Vyond: www.vyond.com
Vyond offers a robust platform for creating animated videos with customizable characters and scenes. Based on our experience, it provides a high level of control over video elements, which is beneficial for detailed and engaging content. Specifically, the ability to tailor characters and scenes is a major plus, allowing for highly personalized and engaging videos. The quality of the animations is excellent.
The platform’s advanced features come with a steeper learning curve, which can be time-consuming.
Pricing: Plans start at $25 per month for basic features, with higher costs for premium options and additional users.
Canva: canva.com
Canva is a video editing tool and versatile design platform. Our experience with Canva revealed that it is incredibly user-friendly, making it easy to create both video and graphic content, using tools such as text to image generation. Canva’s integration of video and graphic design tools ensures consistency across various types of content. The drag-and-drop interface is highly intuitive.
While Canva excels in graphic design, its video editing features are more basic compared to dedicated video platforms. Many advanced features are only available in the Pro plan.
Pricing: The free plan includes basic features. Paid plans start at $10 per month.
Based on our experience, each of these AI-assisted platforms offers unique advantages. InVideo is great for rapid, high-quality video production. Vyond is strong for creating detailed and engaging animations, perfect for educational content. Canva provides a versatile design tool that integrates video production and graphic design, making it ideal for broader content creation, such as marketing.
